Cucusoft MPEG/MOV/RM/AVI to DVD/VCD/SVCD/MPEG Converter lite is a video converter for Windows. This application combines what other companies would sell as several separate applications in one. It supports a vast array of formats that you can convert to DVD, VCD, SVCD and MPEG. This application is great for converting your files to formats that can be played on regular DVD players. Converter Lite supports subtitle output, but you have to install VobSub first. It really doesn't have many authoring features, but this is not a DVD authoring application. The user interface is not great but is a leap forward from the competition. On the top of the application, you will see the output format buttons. If you click any of those, you will be taking to a different screen where you can tweak the output settings. The graphics are not great but are clean enough that you can understand the whole process easily. This converter also supports batch-mode processing, so you can convert several files at once. It also supports 64 bit Intel and AMD processors, which should speed up things a little bit. |
